What do Treatment with Fat Dissolving Injections Involve?

After the initial consultation and treatment plan, the actual procedure will take 30-45 minutes. At each treatment, local anaesthetic will be injected  under the skin using  very fine  needles to numb the treatment area .You will receive multiple small injections under your chin, and the injection process takes about 10 to 15 minutes. The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin and your desired profile. As everyone’s chin profile is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient.

Equinox offer two initial treatments of two vials of the fat dissolving injection this is the minimum required for results. It is important to know that more vials may be required to get the desired outcome. What are the Side Effects?

As with any clinical procedure, side effects can occur. The most common side effects are mild to moderate swelling, pain, numbness, redness, and areas of hardness in the treatment area. Swelling may last up to 4-6 weeks; this is a good sign as it means it is working.

When Will I See the Effects?
