Microblading / Feather Touch Tattoo
A less drastic measure than eyebrow tattooing, but longer -lasting than simple brow tints, eyebrow microblading is a form of semi-permanent tattooing which creates the look of realistic hair strokes by implanting pigment beneath the skin. This is the perfect middle ground for those who may have fallen victim to over-plucking in their youth, or for those who simply yearn for a fuller brow.
Microblading is a perfect option for people whose brows may:
- have little natural hair growth
- been previously over-plucked or shaved
- grow unevenly or have patches of hair missing
- Hair loss due to alopecia or chemotherapy treatment
What Does Feather Touch Tattoo Involve?
The brow artist will discuss your treatment in detail at the consultation and then carefully map out the eyebrow shape, colour, and texture fully tailored to you for the most realistic results. Once you are comfortable that the mapped brow area to be micro bladed meets your needs you can simply lie down and relax while they create your perfect brows.
At Equinox Beauty and Cosmetic Clinic Perth we use premium precision tools that look no different to a simple pen, tiny needles create superficial strokes with medical grade pigment in the outer layer of the skin. To ensure that your treatment experience is as comfortable as possible Equinox brow artists use high medical grade topical anaesthetic cream with this treatment to minimisec any discomfort.
Combining high grade medical equipment with skilled training, our experienced brow artists can help you achieve a natural looking eyebrow finish.
What is the Down Time and After Care Following Microblading?
Immediately following your procedure you can return to normal activities, the treated area may feel a bit like sunburn afterwards but there should be minimal discomfort.
During the initial healing period, there should be minimal scabbing or flaking of the skin. If there is some scabbing or flaking, do not pick, and allow the scab or dry skin to come off on its own.
You may shower or bathe normally, but avoid getting any soaps, shampoos or other cleansers on the treated area for the first five days so you do not affect the stabilisation of the pigments
A top-up session is conducted 6-8 weeks after the initial treatment, The top-up session is used to ensure any areas where pigment may not have taken is re-applied and to ensure you are happy with the overall look and feel of the treatment.
At Equinox Beauty and Cosmetic Clinic Perth we offer you a Complementary Consultation with our brow artists to discuss your desired outcome.
