PLASMA FIBROBLAST NON-SURGICAL SKIN TIGHTENING

BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

What is Plasma Fibroblast?

Plasma Fibroblast is a revolutionary eye lift (Blepharoplasty) and skin tightening treatment that tightens and lifts the skin with instant results. Plasma Fibroblast is a highly effective non-invasive, non0-surgical treatment with minimum pain, healing and recovery time. Unlike conventional surgery which carries many consequences such as (anaesthesia, long term recovery time, complications and great expense).

How does it work?

Plasma Fibroblast creates a controlled dermal wound to promote, encourage and initiate the body’s natural healing response. At Equinox Clinic we utilise the last generation of Beierplasm K85 which is the first continuous working plasma lift in the world. Plasma Fibroblast works similarly to an ablative (fractional) laser. Plasma Fibroblast uses a scientifically-crafted hand piece designed to ionize gases (plasma) in the air creating a small arc. Plasma is created as the arc touches the skin, transmitting heat to the papillary layer of tissue where the fibroblast cells are located.  The plasma-created heat causes the affected tissue to contract and in turn tighten the skin. The fractional tip does not affect the skin cell tissue but only sublimates the skin surface and contract the skin by creating small dot shapes in the treatment area. That’s when the real magic of this treatment happens, your skins natural healing processes go into overdrive and encourage fresh cells, including collagen and elastin, to be produced.

What does Plasma Fibroblast treatment involve?

After the initial consultation and treatment plan, the actual procedure will take 30-45 minutes dependant on the area to be treated. At each treatment, local anaesthetic will be applied before the treatment to minimise any pain or discomfort. The treatment may feel hot in places and there may be a tingling or burning sensation afterwards.

What is the down time following Equinox Plasma Fibroblast treatment?

Following the Plasma Fibroblast treatment clients can resume their normal activities. However, there may be some soreness, tenderness and swelling immediately after the treatment that will dissipate throughout the day, but may last up to 2-3 days.  There will be redness, and dots that have been strategically placed to lift the eyebrow, will be visible up to 7 days.

The dots will crust over and peel off 5-7 days after the treatment.  You will feel tightening, and see the eyebrows lifting each day until the skin is fully healed.

Clients continually see results up to 4 weeks after the treatment.  Clients may apply mineral makeup or liquid foundation products can be used 24 hours after the treatment to camouflage the dots.

Post Treatment Care

  • Avoid sun exposure, and once the skin has healed, don’t forget broad spectrum sunscreen (Aspect Dr. Hydro-shield Sunscreen)
  • Use a gentle cleanser (Aspect Dr. Mild Cleanser)
